FAQs

HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT AND BOOK INTO CLASSES?

We use a booking system for all account management, purchases, and bookings. It’s integrated into our website, & app. The app is preferred you can purchase, book, cancel and more including picking your spot, adding on water or socks to your reservation, track your class count and much more!

I’m new to this- where should I start?

Welcome to the Good Place! No matter where you are starting from we want to make sure that you feel comfortable. Most of our classes open level for any level or mood you may be in. We have listed some descriptors the class style page that can help paint a picture of what to expect.

That being said, if you have never been on a reformer and feel it best to come to a small introduction come to one of our free teaser intro classes to introduce yourself to the equipment and ask all of your questions you may have before trying the other classes. We typically hold 2 of these per month.

In any class, our amazing coaches will be right by your side to make sure you feel supported. We “layer” intensity for most exercises in order to build upon the concept to make the move more advanced or modified to your level.

Our recommendation for newbies? FUNdamentals or reFORM 1 a few times until you are comfortable moving on the reformer. reCOVER and reBOUND are also beginner friendly.

If you still feel unsure private classes are a great way to start, send us an email to inquire more about availability for 1 on 1’s before you purchase a package..

It’s important to note you’re always welcome to take every class at your own pace and every exercises can be modified or substituted. Its always your class and you can take a break or spice it up with ankle weights or spring adjustments.

You must be 18 to take a class at the Good Place.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST CLASS?

Wear something stretchy and not too loose & don’t forget your grip socks (required but don’t worry we have lots to choose from in the boutique if you don’t have any at home)

Aim to arrive at least five minutes before class, to get your socks on and set up for class. At class start time empty reformers will be given to our waitlisted/stand by guests.

Check in on your app or at the kiosk iPad to ensure you aren’t marked as a “no show” and charged accordingly.

If you are booked through a 3rd party (classpass, fitreserve) & it is your first time check in with the staff to get your assigned spot and sign our waiver.

Running late?

If you have been to class before there is a 5 min grace

If you have never been to the studio or on a reformer we will ask you to come back another time

No show fees will be enforced in this case

This is for your safety, respect for those in class and for the coach that is leading the class.

Remove your shoes and leave at the shoe rack or take them along with your personal belongings to your spot and place them in your designated basket.

Avoid a large meal 1.5 hours before class

No gum, food in the studio, also make sure your drink has a lid. NO GLASS WATER BOTTLES PLEASE

We have a change room on site, but not showers. In it you will find hair ties, deodorant, hair powder, tampons and lotion if you forgot.

We have water, snacks, accessories and any gear you could possibly need for sale in the boutique

We have a water refill station that has ice cold and room temp filtered water.

Be ready to move your body, listen to some great music, make some friends and most importantly have fun!

WHAT ELSE?

Pregnancy, injuries, cramps? We want to make sure you’re comfortable so tell your teacher before class if there’s anything they need to know about your body. We respect your privacy.

Only you know your body! We want you to move in ways that make you stronger & we believe every body is capable BUT If something doesn’t work for you – that’s ok. Be proud you tried, we are here to cheer you on!

IM PREGNANT, CAN I STILL COME TO CLASS?

Congratulations! If you’ve been cleared to exercise by your doctor, you can absolutely join our group classes.

  • Prenatal up to 16 weeks = Join any class you were already taking

  • Prenatal post 16 weeks = Classic, Stretch & Flow are perfect for you but if you feel up to it modify any class that feels good to you.

We have wedges to support you during class if you need and can always offer options and alternatives to accommodate you.

NOT FEELING 100%?

If you have cold or flu symptoms please refrain from classes until you’re well. Don’t forget to cancel as to avoid a “no show” charge. Late cancel fees (less than 12 hours before class) do apply*.

If you have any injuries please get the all clear from your doctor before attending class.

If you have anything else going on with your body, something we should be aware of, let your coach know before class starts that you may need a little bit of TLC in your practice.

Always listen to your body and don’t be afraid to ask questions or modify.

IS THERE SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH PILATES?

We don’t think so but make sure you do what works for your body, mind, and schedule.

If you’re new to pilates, then 2-3 classes per week is a great starting point.

Once you’re as hooked as we are then you can build up to 5-6 classes per week.

To make the most out of the Good Place membership, we suggest taking a variety of classes to ensure you’re getting a range of fun, full-body movement.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR I JUST DON’T SHOW UP?

Whatever your reason, we just ask that you cancel your class on our website or app 12 hours before it starts to avoid a penalty. We don't accept cancellations via email, phone or social media. If there is an emergency please text the studio line 702-702-1155.

Our cancellation policies are in place to ensure that everyone has inclusive access to classes and the studio. We hope you can understand!

HOW DO WAITLISTS WORK?

Classes can can fill up quickly! You’re welcome to join our waitlist to (hopefully) grab your spot if someone else cancels.

You’ll be notified via email and/or text if we have a place spare, keep an eye out when you know you are on a waitlist as it can come up within the last hour before class, if that’s not enough notice for your schedule we suggest you don’t place yourself on the waitlist.

We’re so excited to see you so if you don’t respond to our message, we’ll assume that you’re coming along.

If you don’t respond to that email or text and instead ‘late cancel’ your class you’ll forfeit the session as if you did attend (if in a membership the late cancel fee will be charged).
